SEC bans frivolous whistleblower
The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has ruled an anonymous whistleblower is now ineligible for awards for making 142 complaints against various companies in just under two years. The SEC said the whistleblower’s statements were “vague, unsupported, and utterly incredible”.
