SEC and DoJ probe uncovers US$500,000 potential bribe paid in Brazil by Wal-Mart
The US Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission are investigating whether US supermarket chain Wal-Mart paid US$500,000 in bribes to Brazilian government officials between 2009 and 2012, so that the company could open two stores in Brasília, according to reports.
