Prosecutors appoint consultant as General Motors DPA monitor
The US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York reportedly named consultant Bart Schwartz as General Motors’s independent monitor on 29 October, after the car manufacturer entered into a three-year deferred prosecution agreement (DPA) to settle allegations that it concealed a defect in car ignition switches between 2012 and 2014.
