Magyar Telekom co-defendants argue SEC bribery case is time-barred

Three executives at Hungarian telecommunications company Magyar Telekom – Andras Balogh, Elek Straub and Tamas Morvai – have argued that the US Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) FCPA case against them fails because the five-year statute of limitations has already passed, citing Gabelli v SEC, according to a court filing on 21 August.
