Korean authorities investigating Lockheed deal

South Korea's office of the senior presidential secretary for civil affairs has opened an investigation into controversy surrounding how US defence company Lockheed Martin secured a fighter jet contract at the expense of its rival Boeing, which was considered to have a stronger bid, according to reports.
