Hong Kong SFC fines Nomura for failing to report misconduct
Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission has fined Japanese finance company Nomura’s Hong Kong subsidiary HK$4.5 million for failing to tell the regulator about wrongdoing committed by a former trader in a “timely manner”, the agency said in a statement on 30 July.
