Hayes seeking to appeal Libor guilty verdict

Former UBS and Citigroup trader Tom Hayes wants to appeal his conviction and sentence for Libor manipulation, according to Bloomberg. In August, Hayes, who must be given permission to appeal before he can launch a formal challenge, was sentenced to 14 years in prison after a jury in Southwark Crown Court found him guilty of all eight counts of conspiracy to defraud.
