GM agrees to pay US$900 million to avoid criminal charges
Car manufacturer General Motors (GM) has agreed to pay US$900 million as part of a deferred prosecution with the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, after it failed to recall millions of cars that contained a fault linked to 124 deaths.
