Former Bridgestone exec agrees to prison time in auto parts probe

A former executive of Japan’s Bridgestone rubber company agreed to plead guilty and serve a year and a half in prison for his role in a conspiracy to fix prices and rig bids in the auto parts market, the US Department of Justice announced yesterday.
