Forex conspiracy “economically implausible”, banks say
Investors hoping for their day in court against Bank of America, Deutsche Bank and other leading financial institutions over allegations they conspired to manipulate the $5 trillion-per-day foreign exchange market have failed to allege a real conspiracy or even one that would make economic sense, the banks said in court papers last week.
