FINMA in AML enforcement against three banks over Petrobras scandal
Switzerland’s financial regulator FINMA said on 2 November that it has begun enforcement proceedings against three unnamed banks over lax anti-money laundering controls, which allegedly allowed funds linked to the corruption scandal at Brazil’s state-controlled oil company Petrobras to be deposited in Swiss bank accounts.
