Ecclestone Germany corruption trial starts this week
Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone's bribery trial will start on Thursday in Munich. The city's public prosecutor has charged Ecclestone with paying US$45 million to banker Gerhard Gribkowsky, who was sentenced to eight and a half years in jail in 2012 after admitting he took bribes to ensure his bank's Formula One stake would be sold to an investor chosen by Ecclestone.
