DOJ expanding use of FCPA declination policy principles
John Cronan, acting criminal division chief, revealed how the FCPA policy could be applied to other white-collar cases alongside Benjamin Singer, the securities and financial fraud unit chief.
The DOJ is applying the principles of the FCPA corporate enforcement policy, which offers companies that self-report misconduct the presumption of a declination, in a wider range of white-collar crime cases, prosecutors said on 1 March.
