Croatia orders retrial of ex-Croatian prime minister convicted of corruption
After three years in jail, Croatia’s former prime minister Ivo Sanader can leave on bail after the country’s Supreme Court annulled his 2014 conviction for rigging public tenders. The court, which said procedural errors affected Sanader’s right to a fair trial, has ordered a retrial.
