China announces corruption probe into banks, insurance companies and industry regulators
China’s main anti-corruption agency said on 23 October that it plans to inspect major financial institutions, including CITIC Group and Bank of China, as well as regulators, such as the China Insurance Regulatory Commission and the China Banking Regulatory Commission.
