Canada confirms plans to reform debarment
Canada's federal government has confirmed that it plans to introduce a new procurement integrity regime. The government's 2015 budget, published on 21 April, says the new regime will be “transparent, rigorous and consistent with best practices in Canada and abroad,” and ensures contractors are “given due process and a whole-of-government perspective, which supports transparent competition and an ethical Canadian marketplace”.
