California federal judge backs SEC's interpretation of whistleblower protection law

A federal magistrate judge in San Francisco on 23 October partially denied a motion by Bio-Rad Laboratories to dismiss a lawsuit brought by its former general counsel, who has accused the pharmaceutical company of firing him for blowing the whistle on alleged bribery, GIR Just Anti-Corruption reports.
