Bridgestone hit with cartel and repeat offender fine for role in auto parts
US rubber maker and two-time cartelist Bridgestone has agreed to pay the third-largest cartel fine in the history of the Sherman Act both for fixing the price of rubber auto parts, and for declining to disclose its involvement in the auto parts cartel during prior plea negotiations with the Department of Justice.
